Wattyl Paint is an iconic Australian brand, yet with out-dated marketing collateral, it had fallen into the irrelevant pile for many home decorators.
“Wattyl briefed me to develop new imagery and colour collateral which would help the brand regain some of its lost magic,” said Pete, wonder.fy founder and creative director.
The biggest insight was knowing how obsessed Australians are with property.
“Based on that,” said Pete. “I knew we had to inspire consumers to visualise how Wattyl could transform their homes into spaces of wonder as well as be an expression of their 'Aussie Style'.”
Sarah Stephenson, Brand and Communications Manager at Wattyl Paint was elated that Pete could take such a simple insight and turn it into exactly what the brand needed.
“Whether that style was coastal, rural or urban, Pete captured 'Australian' vignettes showcasing the diverse lifestyles we lead and how our product’s technical performance thrives in the harsh Australian environment,” she said.
